Ann Wyman

AfrcInvest Executive Partner – US Member

Ann Wyman is Chief Economist and Senior Partner at AfricInvest, a leading African investment platform managing multiple alternative asset classes including private equity, venture capital and private credit. She is responsible for Economic Research and Investor Engagement and is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee.

Ann is also a Senior Advisor at Gatehouse Advisory Partners, a London-based geopolitical consulting firm. She has previously served as Managing Director and head of Emerging Markets Research in Europe for both Citi and Nomura.

Ann is a founding board member of the US government-funded Tunisian American Enterprise Fund (TAEF), supporting Tunisian SMEs; a board member of the African Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (AVCA); Treasurer of the Board of the American Cooperative School of Tunis (ACST); and a Committee Member of the British Tunisian Society (BTS).

She is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, and obtained her Masters degree at Colombia University’s School of International and Public Affairs.

In addition to her native English, Ann is fluent in French and Arabic (Tunisian dialect).
