President
Mrs Fourati is President at the Tunisian American Enterprise Fund. She leads the Fund’s strategic vision, its investment activities and value creation efforts across the TAEF portfolio.
Prior to joining TAEF, Mrs Fourati served as Executive Director of the SanLucar Group — active in Europe, South Africa and Ecuador — where she led the group’s investment activity in Tunisia, covering acquisitions and investments in agribusiness.
She also spent nearly eight years at Swicorp, as part of the pioneering team that successfully raised over USD 1 billion, deployed in a diversified portfolio across the MENA region. She served on the boards of several portfolio companies.
Her expertise in investment, valuation, due diligence, structuring and portfolio oversight is complemented by a strong background in audit: before moving into private equity, Mrs Fourati worked as an auditor with Coopers & Lybrand Tunisia — the global accounting and consulting firm that subsequently merged with Price Waterhouse — and with KPMG Tunisia.
A Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Mrs Fourati holds master’s and bachelor’s degrees from IHEC Tunis and ISCAE Tunis. She is fluent in English, Arabic and French.
